The Angel Inn and Oakbank House are situated in this beautiful area of Cumbria close to Bowness-on-Windermere which is considered to be one of the most beautiful areas in the Lake District. This traditional inn has views over the village that is always alive and is just a few minutes’ walk from the shores of Windermere, the largest lake in England. While you are sipping your drink in their large pub garden you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the lake, the hills of Claife Heights and the Langdale Pikes in the far distance.

Ideally located to explore the whole of the Lake District with the deepest lake in England, Wastwater and the highest mountain in England, Scafell Pike.
