What is NRBY?

In this connection, NRBY Clothing was established based on how women’s lives are changing. Jo Hooper had been involved in the women’s fashion for almost three decades and she was privy to the changes that have befallen lives. Many women are employed and have flexible jobs, meaning that they work from home or work part-time, and dressing for a special occasion or the office job is not a daily requirement. Jo was always drawn to the Japanese idea of “one-mile wear,” so she set out to design clothes that would do the same: They would be fashionable, comfortable and made of beautiful natural fabrics such as silk, cotton etc. They would take you through your day, from home to near and sometimes even far off places.

Therefore, with the assistance of several friends and colleagues, Jo was accompanied by Cornelia Smith, a friend and a colleague from her “corporate” life, and NRBY Clothing appeared to be a response to the necessity to wear comfortable, warm, and brightly colored clothes that could be worn in any setting, for any occasion. When they want the best touch against the skin, when life feels unpredictable, when the ability to move and feel comfortable is important, and when they no longer shop with the intent of a season.
